Associate in Science Degree
(Application Curriculum Code - 1328)

Degree Requirements
To fulfill requirements for the Associate in Science degree (A.S.), the candidate in Early Childhood must complete a minimum of 66 academic credits with an overall GPA of not less than 2.00, and “C” grades or better in all required major field courses. Additionally, Early Childhood A.S. majors must complete all identified prerequisite courses, achieving a grade of “C” or better in each, before they can be assigned to both ECHD 230 and ECHD 234 practicum. An overall grade point of 2.00 or better in both major field and liberal arts and sciences courses is the prerequisite for both practicum assignments.
