Business and Information Technology Department

The Business and Information Technology programs prepare students to enter the workforce or pursue advanced degrees that lead to broader career opportunities. The two associate degree programs, Accounting and Business Administration, focus on the fundamentals, covering general management, accounting, marketing and business law principles that are essential for any business-related career. Accounting majors complete extensive coursework and have the opportunity to gain work experience through an accounting-related internship. In the Business Administration A.A.S or A.S. programs students can choose from one of three tracks: Business Administration, International Business and Sports Management. The bachelor’s degree, Technology Management: Financial Services, builds on those fundamentals with more extensive coursework, additional emphasis on financial services and a required internship.
