Application for Faculty-Led Programs

Express Application:

1. Choose a program. Pay attention to any prerequisites and minimum eligibility and contact International Education with questions.

2. Complete this application. This is not a fillable form; you must print it out to complete. Fill out all information - incomplete applications will not be accepted. WRITE YOUR 800# ON THE TOP OF YOUR APPLICATION. 

 

You must indicate your plan to cover the costs of the program in the MISCELLANEOUS section of Page 2. 

 

3. Turn in or mail materials to the International Education Office, Bouck 116, SUNY Cobleskill, Cobleskill, NY 12043 or send by email scan to InternationalEducation@cobleskill.edu. If the office is locked you may slide your application under the door. 

 

Payment options:

 

  • Online: Through Banner Web. Choose Student and then choose QuikPay.
  • Credit/debit card: In person or via telephone to Student Accounts at 518-255-5539. Specify the country/program that you are making a payment toward. (Example: "South Africa summer  faculty-led program")
  • Check: Payable to "SUNY Cobleskill" to the Student Accounts Office. Write "(country) payment" in the memo line and make sure the student name and 800# is on the check. Drop off or mail to Student Accounts, Knapp Hall, SUNY Cobleskill, 106 Suffolk Circle, Cobleskill, NY 12043. DO NOT bring checks or any other form of payment to the International Education Office.

Financial aid may be applicable! Ask the Study Abroad Coordinator at International Education about your options.

Mexico - Graphic Design in Mexico City
GART - 3 credits
APPROVED STUDENTS ONLY

May 29- June 11, 2016 (travel dates may exceed program dates)

 

Estimated Cost:  $1200 – Includes round-trip airfare from NYC, accomodations, meals, program-related travel, international health insurance, and excursion/site visits. A passport is required. $300 deposit due on acceptance. Participants are responsible for travel to/from departure airport, and personal spending money. Financial Aid may apply.

 

 

  • Application Deadline: Friday February 26, 2016
  • Attendance confirmation & Non-Refundable $300 deposit Deadline: Wednesday March 9th
  • 1st Payment Deadline: (55% of program cost after deposit) due Monday, March 28th
  • 2nd Payment Deadlines: (remaining program cost balance) due Monday, April 11th
  • Tuition/instructional fees payment deadline - $808.74 (in-state): April 15

 

The deposit is applied to the total estimated cost.

Finland & Sweden - Nordic Arts & Culture
HUMS 290 - Special Project in Humanities, 3 credits

May 22 – June 5, 2016 (travel dates may exceed program dates)

 

Estimated Cost:  $500 – Includes round-trip airfare from NYC, accommodations, meals, program-related travel, international health insurance, and excursion/site visits. A passport is required. $200 deposit due on acceptance. Participants are responsible for travel to/from departure airport, and personal spending money. Financial Aid may apply.

 

 

  • Application Deadline: Monday, February 1, 2016
  • Attendance confirmation & Non-Refundable $200 deposit Deadline: Monday, February 15
  • 1st Payment Deadline: $150 due Monday, March 7
  • 2nd Payment Deadlines: $150 due Monday, March 28

 

The deposit is applied to the total estimated cost.

Costa Rica
AGBU 270 Field Studies in Agricultural Business, Farms and Agribusinesses of Costa Rica, 1 credit
May 15-23, 2016 (travel dates may exceed program dates)

 

Estimated Cost: $2900-$3300 (NOT INCLUDED: $269.58 in-state tuition/instructional fees. Out-of-state additional) Includes Round-trip airfare from NYC, accommodation, most meals, program-related travel, international health insurance, and excursion/site visits. A passport is required. $300 deposit due on acceptance. Participants are responsible for passport expenses, travel to/from departure airport, additional meals, and personal spending money. Financial Aid may apply.

 

 

  • Application deadline: January 25, 2016
  • Attendance confirmation and nonrefundable $300 deposit deadline: Friday, January 29
  • 1st payment deadline - (55% of program cost balance after deposit): February 15
  • 2nd payment deadline - (remaining program cost balance): March 15
  • Tuition/instructional fees payment deadline - $269.58 (in-state): April 15
