Edward Asselin

Edward is a career employee of SUNY Cobleskill. Originally from southern New England and later from the greater Capital District area of New York State, Edward attended SUNY Plattsburgh where he earned his BS degree and the University at Albany where he earned his MS degree. As Director of Residential Life, Edward has supervisory responsibility for all aspects of the campus' housing program. As Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, he is management supervisor for Judicial Affairs, Veteran Affairs, and the Wellness Center (Counseling, Health Care and Health Education).
Syd Bloom

Syd is a seasoned Residence Hall Director. She has a Master's in Student Personal and is certified in Guidance Counseling. Dix Hall has been her home for over 20 years. She loves working where she lives and creating an environment, for her residences, that is supportive, educational centered & nurturing is an important goal for her. Syd is a world traveler, enjoys jazz & foreign films.
William Brownell

Will is the Assistant Complex Coordinator for the Fake/Ten Eyck Complex and Brickyard Point. Originally from Galway, New York, Will graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Cortland. While staying to pursue his Master's degree in Physical Education at Cortland, Will was the Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports there for two years. Will is currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Higher Education with the intentions of making a career out of serving college students. Will is a very competitive person and can often be found playing a wide variety of sports and activities with students on campus.
Mary Conner
Complex Coordinator, Fake-Ten Eyck Complex

Mary is currently the Complex Coordinator for the Fake-Ten Eyck Complex. Mary is originally from Lake George, New York. Mary attended the State University of New York at Oneonta for her BS in English. She received her MS from the University at Albany in Higher Education Administration. Mary enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and Netflixing!
Danielle Dellow

Danielle is the Residence Hall Director of Pearson Hall. Originally from Bridgewater New York, Danielle attended SUNY Cobleskill as a student in the Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management programs. After graduating Danielle worked in restaurants in the Syracuse Area before returning to work for SUNY Cobleskill as a Residence Hall Director. Currently Danielle is in pursuit of her Master's degree in Business Administration. Danielle is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen.
Melanie Dominick

Melanie is in her second year as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY Cobleskill, first starting in Davis Hall then proceeding to Porter Hall. Melanie is originally from Watertown, New York and received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Art. After graduation Melanie began her time at SUNY Cobleskill and is currently in pursuit of her Master's degree in Education. Melanie loves to travel all over the world. Her favorite place thus far is Okinawa, Japan.
Kim Howe

Kim has worked in the Residential Life Office since the summer of 2009. She graduated from the Secretarial Science program at SUNY Cobleskill when computers were the size of a house and has worked on campus for nearly 27 years. When not at her desk, she spends time as a historical interpreter of mid-19th century domestic arts at The Farmers' Museum, enjoying the outdoors and traveling to historic places and national parks.
Will Kelly

Will is currently the RD of Vroman Hall, but has also had experiences working in Draper Hall and the Fake-Ten Eyck Complex. Will graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the University at Albany. Will is, not so secretly, obsessed with Reality Competition shows and spends his summers in Los Angeles.
Matthew LaLonde

Matthew has been working in Student Affairs at SUNY Cobleskill for over 10 years. Originally from Camden, NY, Matthew is an alum of several SUNY Colleges holding a A.S., B.S. and M.S. Prior to working at SUNY Cobleskill, Matthew served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years and after being honorably discharged, served as a teacher in the New York State Public Education System. Matthew is very involved in matters relating to Student Veteran needs and provides leadership for all matters relating to student conduct. Matthew engages in various athletic pursuits, is an avid fisherman and significantly enjoys being a parent.
Ashley Merchant

Ashley Merchant is an Assistant Complex Coordinator. She is from North Plainfield, New Jersey and attended SUNY Purchase as an undergrad student. While at Purchase, Ashley majored in Psychology. Currently, Ashley is working towards her Master's degree in School Counseling at SUNY Oneonta. Since Ashley is not from the area she like to explore local restaurants or relax in between school and work.
Abbey Perkins

Originally from Binghamton, New York, Abbey obtained her B.A. in English and Anthropology from SUNY Potsdam in 2008. Abbey completed her M.S. in Student Affairs Administration at Binghamton University in 2010. Following the completion of her Master's degree, Abbey began working at SUNY Cobleskill as an Assistant Complex Coordinator. Currently, Abbey co-advises the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, & Ally Union (LGBTAU) student organization on campus. Abbey enjoys reading, films, arts & crafts, singing, and playing music.
Christopher Stanonis
Complex Coordinator, Davis-Parsons Complex

Chris is the Complex Coordinator of the Davis/Parsons Complex. Previously he served as the Residence Hall Director of Porter Hall. Originally from Franklin, PA, Chris attended Edinboro University of PA and graduated with a BA in Anthropology in 1998. After additional studies at Lock Haven University of PA, Chris enrolled and was accepted into the Masters of Counseling program at Edinboro University of PA, where he concentrated on Student Personnel Services. He obtained his Master's Degree in 2011. Chris's outside interests include backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, reading and playing guitar.
Jaymes White

A native of Saratoga Springs, New York, Jaymes graduated from California Lutheran University in 2009 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Sports Education & Humanities. While at Cal Lutheran, Jaymes served as a Resident Assistant for two years and also played Intercollegiate Football for two seasons and was member of the 2007 SCIAC Champions. Jaymes holds Master's degree in School Counseling from the Sage Colleges. During his time at Sage, Jaymes worked at Saratoga Springs High School where served as a Teacher's Assistant and assistant football coach. Currently Jaymes is in pursuit of his 2nd Master's degree in Higher Education Administration through SUNY-Stony Brook online. In his free time, Jaymes enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends and family.
