Frank Lawrence - Chief of University Police
Frank Lawrence was appointed Chief of the SUNY Cobleskill University Police Department in 2008. Frank retired from the New York State Police in 1996 where he served as a member of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Prior to joining the NYSP he was employed as a member of the Little Falls, New York Police Department where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Upon his retirement from the State Police he served as Director of Campus Safety and Security and Judicial Affairs at Herkimer County Community College and most recently he served as Director of Campus Safety and Security at Onondaga Community College. Frank is a graduate of Empire State College of Saratoga, NY with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.
Stephanie Battisti - Secretary
Daniel Kowalski – Lieutenant
Dan joined the University Police at SUNY Cobleskill in 1988 and was appointed to Lieutenant in 1993. His previous experience includes being a Unit Supervisor for Parsons Child Family Center in Albany. Dan has a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Buffalo State College. He is a certified radar operator and certified police instructor. Lt. Kowalski enjoys interacting with the students and supports community policing efforts on campus.
Thomas Rehberg – Lieutenant
Thomas joined the University Police Department at Cobleskill in May 2000 and was appointed as a Lieutenant on November 11, 2010. Prior to that, he was employed by the NYS Department of Correctional Services as a Corrections Officer for eight years, serving in several different facilities. Thomas graduated from the State University Police Academy as the class "Top Gun." He holds an Associate's Degree from SUNY Cobleskill and is a DCJS Certified Drug Recognition Expert.
Emily Croneiser - Police Officer
Officer Emily Croneiser is originally from Old Forge New York where she served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Emily attended the New York State University College at Oswego and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Justice. She started her career in Law Enforcement with the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer. Officer Croneiser began working at SUNY Cobleskill in July 2015.
Kenneth Hammond - Police Officer
Ken has been a University Police Officer since January 2003 and has recently been appointed to the University Police Department at Cobleskill in 2014. He is a certified radar/Lidar operator, breath test operator and has training in advanced roadside drug enforcement. Ken is also one of the departments's bike patrol officers. He holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and riding snowmobile.
Gregory McPherson - Police Officer
Greg was appointed to the University Police Department in 2005. Before coming to SUNY Cobleskill, Greg worked at the SUNY College of Westbury as a Police Officer. Greg has an AAS degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College. He is also a certified EMT-B. Greg enjoys the college atmosphere and he believes strongly in community policing.
Erik Petersen - Police Officer
Erik was appointed to the University Police Department in 2014. Prior to coming to SUNY Cobleskill, Erik was employed as a Public Safety Officer at Rochester Institute of Technology. Erik has a BS Degree in Criminal Justice from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Carlianne Rubin - Police Officer
Carli was appointed to the University Police Department in 2014. Prior to coming to SUNY Coblekskill, Carli worked as a Client Service Representative at an Animal Health Center. Carli has a BA Degree in Criminal Justice from Plattsburgh and an AAS Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Adirondack Community College.
Evan Taylor - Police Officer
Officer Evan Taylor is originally from Buffalo, New York and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Evan is a member of the Army Reserves and serves as a Combat Medic with the 865th Combat Support Hospital. He began his career in police work with the Village of Coxsackie Police Department. Officer Taylor began working at SUNY Cobleskill in July 2015.
