Situated on a plateau overlooking the main campus with majestic views of the Schoharie Valley, the new SUNY Cobleskill Foundation Equestrian Center has not only added to the existing campus equine facilities but expanded the educational, and riding and eventing opportunities available to equestrian enthusiasts. Located on the 750 acre main campus of SUNY Cobleskill, the Center's facilities include:
34 ,000-square-foot Main Arena Center
20,000-square-foot indoor riding arena with 60 stall stable
Three 200' x 100' outdoor riding arenas, two lighted
Two heated tack rooms, one with a viewing window into the indoor arena
Two heated wash stalls
Multiple foaling stalls, two with cameras viewable via the web or classroom
Total of 96 10x12 and 12x12 box stalls currently housed within four barns
Show/Guest Barn with 10 additional stalls
Indoor and outdoor round pens
250+ acres of wooded, mountainous and open fields and riding trails
Trails
70 acres of fenced pastures and paddocks

Occupying its own distinctive section of the campus, the Center combines a true working horse farm with a major riding and equestrian event center. Designed with meticulous care to meet the every need of the equestrian enthusiast, from student to competitive rider to show sponsor, as you walk the grounds of the center you will feel you are miles from civilization.
Yet, for the student, you are just a few minutes walk away from your residence hall and the center of the campus.
