Daily Board Rate: $15.00/day
Foaling Fee: $250.00
Phantom Training & Semen Evaluation: $250.00

Collection Fee:

A fee will be charged each time the stallion needs to be collected. The collection fee includes processing for shipment or artificial insemination of a mare boarding at the Center. This fee is due at the time of collection.
Transported Semen Deposit:

If transported semen is to be used, the mare owner must deposit $300.00 with the Center before the first shipment is sent. The deposit, minus any outstanding shipping fees, will be returned to the mare owner after the last breeding of the season. If the shipping container is not returned within eight days of shipment, an extra $10.00/day will be deducted from the deposit. The deposit is forfeited if the shipping container is not returned.

Fed Ex Shipment – Clients anticipating frequent shipments are encouraged to get their own Fed Ex billing number. Those without a billing number and using the Center's number will be billed shipping with a 20% service charge. Shipping fees will be billed to the shipping address unless other arrangements are made.

Insemination Fee:

A fee will be charged each time a boarded mare is bred with semen shipped to $35.00

Natural Cover Fee:

Live Cover fee for breedings is $100.00
Prohibited by the breed registry. Mares will be covered via a hand-held natural cover. Typically a mare will be covered one or two times in a given cycle.

For most efficient breeding of mares it is typical for a mare to be palpated 1-2 times to predict ovulation and after breeding to ensure ovulation. This vet service is charged to the mare owner. A mare appropriately palpated will save the owner excessive breeding fees.

Thank you for considering the services provided at the Center for the 2006 breeding season. The fees collected go directly to cover our costs and to enhance the equine studies curriculum. Participation in the activities is of tremendous benefit to our students.
