“I love SUNY Cobleskill and am very excited to be serving as president for the Student Government Association,” said Van Zyl. “I am fascinated by this organization and what it does for this school, the clubs and especially the students.”

Chamberlain of Adams is studying Agricultural Business.  She has been involved in SGA, Council for Student Activities and Orange Key Society.  Chamberlain is a RA in Davis Hall and a student assistant at Brickyard Point on campus.  She hopes to see the connection between the college and the village of Cobleskill continues to grow, as well as improving clubs and leadership development.

Mason of Albany, Vt. is studying Wildlife Management at SUNY Cobleskill.  He has been an active SGA member and served as an FFA state officer for two years. He is also a member of The Wildlife Society on campus.

Josh Dineen of Canisteo is studying Information Technology with a concentration in Network Administration. He has been an advocate for students and believes by participating in SGA, he can make “Some great changes.”

Hill of Moosup, Conn. is working on a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.  She is an Orange Key Student Ambassador and a member of Plant Science Club.  She is also the senior RA for Pearson Hall and serves on the Residence Hall Master Plan Steering Committee.

“I ran for director of public relations because I really wanted to reach the student body as a whole and promote positive change on our campus,” she said. “I want to recruit more members and make Student Government an even stronger leadership group.  It feels great to be elected, I am so excited to take on this new challenge and make a positive impact on the campus.”
