Online education at SUNY Cobleskill provides you the opportunity to meet real instructors on ANGEL Course Management System (ANGEL) through the Internet. When you take a class online, you'll receive the same high-quality instruction, technology support, and accreditation as you would in a traditional classroom. Generally speaking, online courses are convenient and flexible. They teach students not only the life-long learning techniques but also self-discipline skills. However, online courses may not be a best choice for everyone. Please check the FREQUENTLY Asked Questions for online learning to see if you're ready to take courses online.

If you are a new student taking online courses at SUNY Cobleskill, you must go to this site: NETWORK Activation, to activate your COBY network and email account. After you enter your Banner ID and PIN, you'll get your username and be prompt to reset your password. The username and password are reuired for logging on ANGEL and Cobleskill's email. If you have any questions or problems setting up your password, please call 518-255-5800. With your Banner ID and PIN, you can also use this site to change your password later.
