What do we have in place?
- Frisbie is our first Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certifiable
building. LEED is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class
building strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, building projects
must satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification.
- The Center for Environmental Science and Technology is our second LEED building.
What's on the horizon?
- The Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources building is a LEED certifiable construction
that will replace many of our older, less efficient buildings. The Center for Agriculture
and Natural Resources is projected to be a LEED Gold building.
What is just over the horizon?
- Home Economics Building is in the planning stages for a complete rehab and addition.
This planned construction would make the Home Economics Building our fourth LEED certifiable
building.
Why is LEED important?
