Orientation Reminders
We look forward to meeting you!
Your summer orientation session is coming soon! We have a few reminders for you.
- Please take time to familiarize yourself with the schedule so you can plan accordingly
for arrival and departure. This is a live schedule, and any updates will be published
on the web page through the CORQ app as well as google maps.
- All attendees can report to the check-in area (Brickyard Point Lower Level) during
the designated check-in time in the morning.
- When you access the google map on the main page for Orientation, you can click on the Parking Area highlighted in the schedule that will take you
directly to where you should park when you arrive (F-Lot).
- For Family Members that are utilizing our on campus overnight accommodations (Alumni
Commons), you should NOT bring your overnight supplies to the check-in area in the morning (leave them in
your vehicle) as Alumni Commons is not in the same area as check-in. There will be
open time frames for you to do so later.
- In case you missed it on the website, please know that our overnight accommodations
for Family Members do not include bed linens, towels, or hygiene products. Alumni
Commons is apartment style housing with single bedrooms, so each individual will have
their own bedroom, but may share a restroom with another guest in the unit.
- For Students that are staying with us on campus overnight, you SHOULD bring your overnight supplies (bed linens, towels, hygiene products and shower supplies)
to check-in, as you will go to your room right after you check-in.
- Before your arrival for your orientation session, please upload a photo of yourself
for your Coby Card. Your Coby Card is your ID on campus to access items such as your
meal plan, check out materials at the library, and accessing your residence hall.
For more information on requirements and how to upload your Coby Card photo, please
view instructions at the bottom of the page located here.
This event is rain or shine. We have many exciting experiences planned for students
and family members designed for a successful transition to college life.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Please reach out with any questions you may have.
