Donna serves as the Director of the Center for Career Development. She has over 25 years of experience in the Student Development field. She started working in the Career Development field in 2003. Donna has been active in the state-wide SUNY Career Development Organization and has held several leadership positions including President and SUNY Liaison. In 2016, Donna received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service. She loves the opportunity to work with students and assist them in achieving their career goals. Donna earned a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in History, from SUNY Geneseo.

Lisa Weatherwax has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bard College and a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from the New School for Social Research in Manhattan. Lisa joined the Center for Career Development at SUNY Cobleskill in 2004. Lisa currently serves as Associate Director, assisting students with internships and graduate school planning. She works collaboratively with students, faculty and employers to develop new internship and “applied learning” opportunities to assist students in becoming exceptionally prepared as they enter the industry of their choice.

Ron Pleban joined the Center for Career Development on August 17, 2016. He is the primary resume writer in the office, offers career counseling and exploration appointments, serves as the administrator for Optimal Resume and Focus 2, and advises students about the transfer process. He collaborates with students and his colleagues across campus as a member of various committees. Ron earned a Bachelor of Art degree as a dual major in Sociology and Anthropology at SUNY Cortland and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration at Stony Brook University.
Jodi serves as secretary for the Center for Career Development. She oversees the day to day operations of the office and is the first point of contact for students. She assists with planning the events coordinated by the Center for Career Development. She started her career at SUNY Cobleskill in 2003 as an office assistant in the Admissions Office and stayed in that office until 2015. In February 2015 she transitioned to the position of office assistant for the Center for Career Development. Jodi is a 2001 graduate of Alfred State College with degrees in Business Administration and Social Science-Psychology.
