Stephanie Battisti - Secretary
Stephanie Battisti joined the University Police at SUNY Cobleskill in 2016. She has worked for New York State for 10+ years in a few different agencies. Stephanie has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Empire State College
Gregory McPherson - Lieutenant
Lieutenant Gregory McPherson was appointed to the University Police Department in 2005. Before coming to SUNY Cobleskill, Greg worked at the SUNY College of Westbury as a Police Officer. Greg has an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College. He is also a certified EMT-B. Greg enjoys the college atmosphere and he believes strongly in community policing.
Erik Petersen - Lieutenant
Lieutenant Erik Petersen was appointed to the University Police Department in 2014.
Prior to coming to SUNY Cobleskill, Erik was employed as a Public Safety Officer at
Rochester Institute of Technology. Erik has a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice from
Rochester Institute of Technology.
Thomas Rehberg –Lieutenant
Thomas Rehberg joined the University Police Department at Cobleskill in May 2000 and was appointed as a Lieutenant on November 11, 2010. Prior to that, he was employed by the NYS Department of Correctional Services as a Corrections Officer for eight years, serving in several different facilities. Thomas graduated from the State University Police Academy as the class "Top Gun." He holds an Associate's Degree from SUNY Cobleskill and is a DCJS Certified Drug Recognition Expert.
Emily Croneiser - Police Officer
Officer Emily Croneiser began working at SUNY Cobleskill in July 2015. She is originally from Old Forge New York where she served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Emily attended the New York State University College at Oswego and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Justice. She started her career in Law Enforcement with the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer.
Kenneth Hammond - Police Officer
Officer Kenneth Hammond has been a University Police Officer since January 2003 and has recently been appointed to the University Police Department at Cobleskill in 2014. He is a certified radar/Lidar operator, breath test operator and has training in advanced roadside drug enforcement. Ken is also one of the departments bike patrol officers. He holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and riding snowmobile.
Christopher LoPiano - Police Officer
Officer Christopher LoPiano joined the University Police at SUNY Cobleskill in July of 2016. Prior to working at Cobleskill Chris was a member of the University of Rochester Public Safety Department. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. John Fisher College.
Edward Meyers - Police Officer
Officer Edward Meyers is in his 19th year of service with the New York State University Police, initially hired at SUNY Delhi and serving most recently at the University at Albany. Officer Meyers is an instructor of several courses of instruction including defensive tactics, active shooter response, general topics, and IRTB (Initial Response to Terrorist Bombings). Officer Meyers is also a Police Canine instructor and evaluator.
Carlianne Rubin - Police Officer
Officer Carlianne Rubin was appointed to the University Police Department in 2014. Prior to coming to SUNY Cobleskill, Carli worked as a Client Service Representative at an Animal Health Center. Carli has a B.A. Degree in Criminal Justice from Plattsburgh and an AAS Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Adirondack Community College.
Evan Taylor - Police Officer
Officer Evan Taylor began working at SUNY Cobleskill in July 2015. He is originally from Buffalo, New York and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Evan is a member of the Army Reserves and serves as a Combat Medic with the 865th Combat Support Hospital. He began his career in police work with the Village of Coxsackie Police Department.
