What is AccessABILITY Resources (AR)?
The primary objective of the AccessABILITY Resources (AR) Office is to develop and maintain a supportive campus environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth for students with disabilities. We put into place the civil rights mandate of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its amendments that ensure equal opportunity and access for all students who have a disability . It is an institutional responsibility to be in compliance with the law in the provision of academic accommodations.
SUNY Cobleskill is committed to providing equal access for all qualified individuals to its programs and educational opportunities.
(Please note that the laws that apply at the post-secondary level are different than those at the k-12 level. See Laws)
