SUNY Cobleskill offers a variety of generous scholarship support to our students. The following is a list of scholarships available to students who have been accepted into a program of study for the Fall 2019 semester and intend to enroll full-time.
Coby Premier Scholarships
SUNY Cobleskill is proud to offer a brand new scholarship program for students entering Cobleskill for the first time in the Fall 2019 semester. Annual scholarship amounts are between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on intended major and high school GPA. On-campus housing is required and scholarships can be renewed for up to 4 years.
All students who complete an Admission application and a FAFSA application before February 15 are given priority consideration for the Coby Premier scholarships listed below. No additional scholarship application is required. The college reserves the right to limit the number of scholarships offered to students enrolling in high demand programs.
Offered to our highest achieving freshman students who begin their studies in the Fall 2019 semester. Annual award amounts are between $3,000 and $5,000 per year. Renewable up to 4 years.
Offered to first-time freshman students who graduate from a NYS high school and begin their studies in the Fall 2019 semester. Annual award amounts are $2,000 or $3,000 per year. Renewable up to four years.
Offered to non-New York students beginning their studies in the Fall 2019 semester. Annual award amounts are $2,000 or $3,000. Renewable for up to four years.

Coby-Wise Local Housing Grant
All graduates of Schoharie County High Schools with a minimum 80 high school average are eligible to receive an annual housing grant of between $4,000 and $6,000 to live on campus. Local students can now experience the rich rewards of an on-campus living experience at a fraction of the cost of leaving town. A completed admission application and a separate Coby-Wise Local Housing Grant application are required. The College reserves the right to limit the number of Coby-Wise Local Housing Grants that are awarded each year. Priority consideration will be given to early applicants.
