If your family’s financial situation has changed significantly from what is reflected
on your federal income tax return (for example, if you or a parent lost a job or otherwise
experienced a drop in income), you may be eligible to have your financial aid adjusted.
Please follow these steps if you would like to have your financial aid eligibility
re-evaluated:
- Complete a FAFSA for the aid year you are requesting and answer all questions as instructed
on the application (including the transfer of tax return and income information)
- Fill out an online 2022-23 request form or a 2023-2024 request form which will allow you to briefly describe your change in financial circumstances
- The staff of the Student Financial Services office will review your information within
two weeks. If we determine that you meet the criteria for a re-evaluation, then you
will receive an email with a list of additional documents that will need to be provided.
A formal re-evaluation of your financial aid eligibility will be done once all documentation
has been received.
Our staff understands that many families have been impacted negatively by the pandemic
and we will do our best to assist you. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Student
Financial Services office by phone, email or virtual appointment if you have any questions about the process.
