We're thrilled you're joining us! We can't wait to see you. This checklist, along with the information below, is meant to guide you through the required tasks you must complete prior to arrival, and provide resources to insure a smooth transition for your first semester at SUNY Cobleskill.
After submitting your deposit, your Cobleskill.edu email becomes the primary method of official college communication. In the months leading up to your first semester, you will receive information from a variety of on-campus offices, so be sure to check your new Cobleskill email regularly.

First Steps
Please review some information about the spring 2023 semester and learn what you can expect from your on-campus semester experience.
BannerWeb is our online student portal for accessing all information pertaining to your academic records, financial aid and billing. You can also complete processes such as vehicle registration, and code of conduct affirmation. To login, you'll need your BannerWeb ID (800#) and PIN. For any questions, please contact Admissions.
You will receive a pin and details in the mail on how to activate your email after your deposit has been received; you must activate the account before completing any subsequent steps. For any questions, please contact the ITS Helpdesk.
Tiger Tracks is a user friendly interface that lists what holds you still need to complete before arriving to campus. Log in with your BannerWeb ID (800#) and pin to be able to see any outstanding holds and links to help complete these holds
Financial Aid & Billing
Semester bills are due by January 9, 2023. Billing notifications are sent to your SUNY Cobleskill email. To have the bill emailed to another person (such as a parent, guardian or other third party), you’ll need to make them an Authorized Party. You can set up authorized party, check and pay your bill, set up a monthly payment plan online through BannerWeb (under Billing and Payments). Campus Life
The Student Conduct Code contains information on college policies and student behavior; after reading it, you will see a link to BannerWeb, our online student portal, to complete your affirmation process. For any questions, please contact Student Conduct office.
Use your Cobleskill email to sign into the eRezLife portal to complete the online housing survey, which then registers you for housing. Please complete the housing survey as soon as possible for best consideration of your preferences. Housing assignments will be e-mailed to you when your assignment is completed. For any questions, please contact Residential Life.
The CobyCard is the official identification card of SUNY Cobleskill. IDs are issued to all members of our community: it is required for identification and to access essential services. It also offers access to convenient prepaid accounts for making purchases on- and off-campus.
You’ll need to log onto CobyLink using your SUNY Cobleskill single sign on to “Upload your Photo” under the INFORMATION section.
As a new student, you are automatically added to the recommended, OnCampus Unlimited PLUS Meal Plan. You have until January 27, 2023 at 4:00 pm to change your meal plan for the semester. To choose a different plan, you'll need to complete the online meal plan contract form. If you have any questions, please contact the CobyCard Office.
Submit Your Immunization Records
You can submit complete health and immunization information online through the Wellness Center patient portal, or by mail or fax. This information should be submitted before the beginning of the semester.
Health Insurance
Please submit a copy of your current health insurance card with your health and immunization requirements.

Sexual & Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course (SPARC)
SPARC is a mandatory online training required of all new SUNY Cobleskill Students. You can find the course here. Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation. Thank you for your time and attention to this brief training.

Academics
Send final transcripts, AP score reports, SAT or ACT scores and documents indicating any college credits earned to Admissions. When in doubt, contact Admissions to see if any items are needed. If applicable, document your disability with the AccessABILITY office and learn how to register for accommodations. For any questions, please contact the Admissions Office.

If accepted, students will receive a welcome phone call from the EOP office. Then students must submit a statement or complete the Acceptance Confirmation Form to indicate that they will be attending SUNY Cobleskill.

Orientation is a required experience for all new and transfer students. Get to know some of your classmates and professional staff you will be working with to better understand our community expectations for the upcoming semester. Register for the orientation experience here.
We are asking all students to take an at-home rapid test 24 hours before arriving to campus for the first time. If you test positive, please go to the following link to inform the Wellness Center: Student Report of Quarantine/Isolation/Positive Testing
Residential students: The move in date is Sunday, January 22, 2023, 8:00 am - 11:30 am.
