Email Registration Instructions

All members of the SUNY Cobleskill community (Students, Faculty/Staff, and Volunteers) are assigned unique @cobleskill.edu accounts which will grant them access to the appropriate campus technologies. All users must first manually activate their SUNY Cobleskill account via the MyLogon portal before they can access their email, BannerWeb, or any other SUNY Cobleskill resources.

 

HOW-TO ACTIVATE SUNY COBLESKILL ACCOUNT

 

• To activate your Cobleskill account, you will need the following information which was originally issued to you by the SUNY Cobleskill HR Office in an email:
  • your BannerID (9-digit, 800#)
  • your unique Temporary PIN (usually resembles 6-digit birthday MM/DD/YY)
    • STUDENTS: Admissions Office can provide Banner ID and PIN if lost or misplaced, 518-255- 5525
    • FACULTY/STAFF/VOLUNTEERS: HR Office can provide Banner ID and PIN if lost or misplaced, 518-255-5423
• With your 800# & PIN in hand, go to MyLogon: https://bit.ly/3RC0UmX
• Enter the corresponding information in the proper fields and then select "Logon".
• Users will then be prompted to create a security question and set a custom password for all future sign-ins to any Cobleskill system.
  • Note for clarity: the 800# and PIN will be used one-time only and all future sign-ins will require Cobleskill username & password.
